    1. multiply 12, 16, 6, then divide by 6 ( this number represents the 6 sides of a box)

    2. for me its 720... there are 2(12*16) + 2(12*6) + 2(16*6)= 720... i consider the 2 base are the same but different in lateral surfaces of the box.. therefore, the box is rectangular parallelpiped.

    3. my answer is 720 also. total surface area is being asked here.

    1. no! its right!
      in item 2, the original price is 640, sold by 800, AFTER SELLING he earn 160php which is 25% of 640! not the 25% of 800!
      in item 4, 4:1 meaning women are 80% and men are 20%
      in item 5, 60KG is equal to 60000grams. 60000g/750g is equal to 80!

      Delete
    2. how can we get 640 in item no. 2?

      Delete
    3. let x = original price
      Profit (P) = .25x

      x + .25x = 800
      1.25x = 800
      x = 800/1.25
      x = 640

      Solving for profit:
      Profit = .25(640)
      = 160
